So all you have to do is get under the driver seat, unplug their harnesses, plug in our harness, and run your RCAs and remote to your amp. Remove sill plate and attach purple Power Step trigger wire to blue butt connector of double diode harness. This harness is tied into all the speaker wires and power and ground on the harness. This harness comes complete with two runs of 17′ of speaker wire installed, so it is ready to go to your interface or DSP of choice, with no need of load resistors, and back from your amplifier to the speakers. The module is under the driver seat and has two plugs, so this is a super easy installation. Meaning you can do all your amp wiring without having to pull the radio out of the dash. Now, the cool part about this system is that power, ground and all your speaker wires are under the driver seat and also bypasses all of your ANC microphones. theres too many computers and control modules its not simply tapping into wires anymore.

The short answer is that if you want to upgrade anything, amps and subs, you will need to get around this system to get the results that you expect. The amp steps come with its own harness and control module. The complication with is that when you add in new audio equipment, it “sees” more “noise” and tries to cancel it. Then 3 microphones in the truck pic up road noise in the cabin and feed it back through to the speakers to null out what noise it sees. What this system does is the audio signal from the radio goes to the module below the seat. now it is ANC, or Active Noise Cancellation. On the 13-19 Rams, load resistors were the complication. Ram couldn’t leave it alone, but this is actually for the better. Other than installation simplicity, it also keeps you from cutting up the wiring in your brand new truck.
It is a plug-n-play harness that plugs in at the ANC module under the Driver seat and has your 4-channels of speaker wire installed already. This is for the new 5th Gen 19-up Ram Trucks.
